The event is about discovering your physical and creative abilities as you embark on a 24 hour challenge.

Starting at 11 am on Saturday, more than 20 artists will sketch, write and draw for 24 hours at the Nova Sbe, with the goal of completing an individual 24-page comic by 11 am the following day.

How does it work?

Artists will meet Saturday at Nova Sbe Campus (Oeiras).

The event space is comfortable and well- equipped with desks, seats, good lighting, a couch to relax on, some snacks and a coffee.

Everyone is given 24 hours to create their own 24 page comic story.

How you complete the challenge is up to you, whether you choose to use the full 24 hours or finish quickly and stay and hang out.  The goal is to all finish and the journey is yours!

What should I bring?

Any artist who would like to participate is asked to bring:

- Their own preferred drawing materials: papers, paints, brushes, tablet, computers, cables, etc.

- Food and drinks for 24 hours (if you would like to prepare something to share with others it is more than appreciated - we will provide also some snacks, food and coffee during the 24h)

A couple more things:

- Please arrive at least 1 hour before the official start of the event (10 am Saturday the 8th)

- Please be respectful of the material provided by Nova Sbe. Furniture and equipment need to be handled with care (no scratches, scribbling or other marks).

- If you are used to working with Indian ink or acrylic paints, please bring plastic covers in order to protect the table.

- If for any reason you cannot attend please let us know as soon as possible so that other people can take part in the event
